Three fast but good day in Brisbane

Here we are! For telling you some of our world adventures!
Let’s start with the 3 days in Brisbane!
We left Merrylands very very early in the morning..the walk to the station needed some minutes more than usually..maybe because of baggages or maybe because we were excited yes for the trip but also very sad and nostalgic..we were left maybe for ever Sydney and in a few days Australia…so the walk taken some more silent minutes..
We booked the flight with tiger air..what we can say..was very very cheap!really low cost..the size of the fly was maybe like our bus in Rome! Was 1/3 of an Ethiad flight!
Nico said :”The ass of the hostess does’nt fit between the seats” hauhauhauha
Really scary landing! Oh my God! It seemed like no signs of stopping!
In Brisbane we taked the baggage in 10 mins..fast, easy check..our host was waiting us at the exit of the airport. The house was really bright, good size and good rooms…and Chilly, the dog, was beautiful, cute and friendly! Room and bath were ok [seems like an website review ahahha]

In the afternoon of the first day we went to Brisbane CBD just for walking and look around..Brisbane in very different from Sydney…huge houses! Beautiful! Old style with big patio..like in the movies! From the bus we saw Chinatown suburb and we decided to get inside.. nice place but not so cool.
Nice ferries, cute trip! A lot of photos! Brisbane looks more clean and tidy and less crowd than Sudney .
The night before we didn’t sleep very much..maybe two hours so the first day in Brisbane was wearisome! We slept standing! Eheh Aldi was our friend also in Brisbane..so grocery shopping, dinner and at 9:00 pm we were already sleeping!
The second day was amazing! We dreamed the Australia Zoo from Rome before we arrived in Australia..maybe I dreamed the Australia Zoo! Eheh but also Nico was curious!
Much bigger than Taroonga Zoo, maybe must quality, must animals, must activities…and also highest price!
We finally saw crocodiles!!! Strange animal! During the show the tamers explained to us what do and what don’t do in front of a crocodile! (we hope not to be faced with crocodile!)
First thing…don’t touch their water! Is their and they are really jealous! In fact, during the show, to make them approach the tamer beat his feet into water. If you don’t touch their water you can be safe..mauauha can be less dangerous meet a crocodile out of water, he can be slow and relaxed!
After that we saw bird’s show with a huge condor and many many many different parrots..and after that…the koalas!!! Nico said that they seems tender and soft (to eat U_U) eheh they look beautiful! We petted them! They look more soft than they are! Seem like sheep’s wool! A baby koala was so cute!
During the queue for pet koalas there was an Italian family and like we usually said “Ce famo sempre riconosce!!” that was! To explain “Ce famo sempre riconosce” is something like an idiom for say that everywhere in the world the regular Italian is the same, with same behaviour (with a negative meaning!) So.. the father said to a staff girl “Hey, you, photo” muauahauhau for ask to make a photo..no comment! The girl said them not to touch that koalas and the young boy ask to his mother why and the mother “perche’ senno si incazzano”
[little digression: that means “because otherwise they get angry…this sentence in English is not like in Italian.. I have to put inside some bad words like fuck or shit XD something like “because otherwise he get fuck angry” mmm is not the same XD but..maybe you understood the purpose! End of digression!]
But was not true..the girl didn’t say that! U__U

Anyway at the “koala talk” the staff told us that the koalas has a 35 days pregnancy! And also that the first 2 weeks the koala puppies live in the marsupial poch of their mum, they are not able to eat and the leaves of eucalypt are toxic so the mother give to puppies the poo bleeeee because it is easly to digest for them.
After koalas we saw other animals, in the Africa area there are giraffes, elephants, zebras and rhinos and we saw a cheetah on a leash! Beautiful! And after a lot of funny and cute lemurs and kangaroos and wallabies!

The third day in Brisbane we went to the….. Koala Sanctuary!!!! Yeeeeeeh! We done a lot of photo! Was an amazing place!
First cage…we saw finally the red fly foxs! Many biiiig bats! We wanted see them in Sydney botanic gardens but we cannot find them..so.. it was very excited! Are not ugly, certainly don’t inspire confidence…but are animals that intrigue and when they move and open the wings..are very big!
In the park there are a lot of parrots in different size and color and a lot of free big lizards!
We saw also the dingo..beautiful! they seems very cute! But in the evening Peter, our host, said us that they are very dangerous and aggressive animals..
After that…the koalas!!! Dozens and dozens of koalas..small and big, asleep and awake, brown and grey, old and young! Many many many! And they…jump! we didn’t know that! We saw them jumping..funny! we saw also other animals..snake like a neckless and the prey birds show..good!
After lunch we open the queue for make photos in the place for picked up the koalas! We were really anxious and agitated..koalas are strange but cool and funny animals..and was a surprise that they are not so soft! And they are heavy and they…have a bad smell! Anyway are too cute!!!!

The last day in Brisbane we spent half day in Gold Coast, in Surfers Paradise! White and thin beach into the city! Beautiful!
We decided to go on the skypoint for see the city from bottom! The lift was really fast! 1-77 levels maybe in 30 seconds! Nice view! And nice walking in the surfer paradise streets..was different from Brisbane, different from Sydney! It seems another country! We had a funny time with our polaroid! We love it!
In the afternoon we came back to centre of Brisbane, we were scared to be in late but we realized that we had a lot of time..so we walked around and we found Roma Street Parkland, a kind of botanical gardens plus entertainment, games for kids, fountains…Cool! A lot of colourful flowers! Beautiful.. We have witnessed the courtship of two biiiig lizards ^__^

We were tired..really tired, and this place were a nice surprise where spend time in peace..Often we are too much busy in our life hat we can’t realize what a beautiful is the nature..and what we have around us..we are really lucky…!

In the evening we came back to our “house” for preparing baggage and move to the Airport..for the real begin of our big trip!
